The Balavil Hotel is a local family business run by the Coyle's, who are once again managing the Hotel and Restaurant after previously owning it for 21 years. We are situated on the Main Street in Newtonmore and welcome families, locals, and visitors. The Balavil Hotel has 51 en-suite bedrooms that have recently been refurbished for 2012 season. There are 3 floors that can be accessed by a lift or stairs. All rooms have flat screen T.V's with tea and coffee facilities.

Larick House can sleep 8/9. The ground floor has 1 double and 1 twin, both with en-suite shower, while on the first floor we offer 1 double and 1 twin with shared private bath/shower room. Either of the upstairs rooms can be converted to a family room and we have a cot and high chair for babies available by arrangement.

Situated in the traditional Highland village of Newtonmore, our hotel provides first class accommodation and excellent meals, in a very relaxing environment. The hotel is set in an acre of gardens with ample parking for all guests, but only a few minutes walk from the village. Newtonmore is just south of Aviemore in Inverness shire, and lies within the border of the new Cairngorms National Park.

Clune house is an ideal location with which to explore the many attractions of the area from all year round outdoor activities (see our out and about page) to the Ardverekie estate home of monarch of the glen, spend an afternoon at our Highland folk museum or visit the clan McPherson museum at the southern end of village .

Coig na Shee luxury Guest House is a beautiful 1903 Highland lodge, set in mature grounds, in the village of Newtonmore, Inverness-shire, within the spectacular setting of the Cairngorms National Park. Craigerne House Hotel, Newtonmore, is a privately owned Country House Hotel with delightful mature gardens commanding magnificent views of the Monadhliath and Cairngorm mountains and Spey Valley Only 100 yards from the centre of Newtonmore and its amenities, the Craigerne House Hotel is located on the edge of the village next to the golf course.

Our Newtonmore Bed and Breakfast is a very convenient base from which you can explore this marvellous area and enjoy the many outdoor activities on offer, returning in the evening to join your fellow guests for dinner or to simply relax in front of the lounge fire, nightcap in hand, reading, chatting or simply savouring the spectacular views.

The hostel sleeps 10-12 persons in 3 bunk-bedded rooms. There are three toilets and showers, a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge area with wood burning stove, and of course, a super drying room. We also have dry secure overnight storage for bikes.
