This small
town lies at the south western boundary of the park and is a
popular spot for those that like the great outdoors. There are
lots
of Munros and other hills to explore as well as some fantastic
glen walks such as those around Glen Tilt.
Probably the biggest
attraction for visitors other than the splendid scenery and
mountains is of course Blair Castle.
The castle is the home of
the Duke of Atholl and is open to visitors. Its magnificence has
presided over this village for over seven hundred years and
boasts an interesting and turbulent past.
In and around Blair Atholl
there are many things to see and do including Killicrankie to
the south and Bruar House to the north.
