Carrbridge lies at the north
western boundary of the park and beside the Monadhliath Mountains and just twenty minutes from Inverness. It is an ideal place to be based while exploring the wonders of this part of the National Park.
It has lots for everyone to
do of all abilities. There are forest walks and the nearby
mountains provide longer and more strenuous walks for the fit.
There also many tracks for cycling.
Cairngorm Mountain resort
is easily accessible from here for both summer and winter
sports.

The bridge above is the
famous packhorse bridge and is probably one of the most
photographed bridges in the park.
